Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: January 1, 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern the services provided by American Satellite, Inc. (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) to you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”). By engaging American Satellite, Inc. for satellite installation, system design, or technical consulting, you agree to the following terms:
1. Scope of Services
American Satellite, Inc. provides professional satellite television installation, system engineering, and technical consulting.
Installation: Includes physical mounting of equipment, cabling, and system configuration.
Consulting: Includes phone-based troubleshooting, system design blueprints, and/or technical guidance for third-party teams.
2. Client Obligations & Property Access
To ensure a successful installation or consultation, the Client agrees to:
Access: Provide full access to the premises, including roofs, attics, crawl spaces, and A/V equipment racks at the scheduled time.
Approvals: Obtain all necessary permissions from Homeowners’ Associations (HOA), landlords, or property managers prior to work commencement.
Utilities: Ensure active power and high-speed internet (if required for receivers) are available at the time of service.
3. Technical Constraints & Line of Sight
Satellite technology requires an unobstructed “Line of Sight” to the orbital arc.
We are not responsible for signal degradation caused by growing foliage, new construction, or atmospheric conditions.
If a permanent Line of Sight cannot be established due to property constraints, we will inform you of the best possible alternatives, though signal quality cannot be guaranteed in these instances.
4. System Design & Third-Party Execution
When providing Technical Consulting or System Design, American Satellite, Inc. acts as a consultant. We are not responsible for errors or damages caused by third-party contractors or A/V integration teams who execute our designs. Our liability in consulting is limited strictly to the technical accuracy of the provided specifications.
5. Liability & Damage Waiver
American Satellite, Inc. maintains professional standards and high-quality workmanship. However:
Roof Integrity: We are not liable for leaks or structural issues on pre-existing roofs that are already aged or compromised.
A/V Equipment: We are not responsible for the failure of existing third-party A/V equipment, home automation systems, or network infrastructure.
Limitation of Liability: Our total liability for any claim arising out of our work is limited to the total amount paid by the Client for the specific service in question.
6. Payment Terms
Invoicing: Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing (e.g., for A/V company net terms).
Equipment: All equipment remains the property of the respective satellite provider (e.g., DIRECTV) or American Satellite, Inc. until fully paid for by the Client.
7. Cancellations
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. We reserve the right to charge a “Service Call Fee” for missed appointments where access to the property was not provided.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Palm Beach County, FL.
